Wonderful stay. Super easy check in and check out. Parking right at the bottom of the stairs. Extremely clean with everything we needed for a pleasant getaway. Super quiet at night made for good sleep in the comfy bed. Walking distance to parks, shopping and restaurants. No complaints about any thing. Would recommend a nightlight for the bathroom. Super dark at night which we loved but made it hard to see getting to the bathroom for those of us older gals who need to get up during the night. We remedied the problem by leaving a lamp on in the living room. I highly this property and would absolutely plan on staying there if we visit Bluffton in the future.

This is a wonderful property located above a 3 car garage that is not used on a lovely estate. The location is perfect. It's quiet and a short walk to everything in Old Town Bluffton. The host, Darlene, is very responsive and a good person. She took good care of me during my stay. The apartment itself is very clean, well equipped and quiet. It snowed out on one the days I was there, not much just 1/4 of an inch but the owner had someone sweeping the stairs and when i went to go out she was sweeping the snow off my rental car. The hospitality I received was wonderful. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

This well-equipped guesthouse, rising over the detached garage on a large, wooded estate, is the perfect setting to relax in quiet comfort and privacy--a great getaway. We loved those features. We also enjoyed venturing out into the heart of Bluffton, easily walkable to historic houses, unique shops, and diverse restaurants--a great way to get into the distinctive charm of this old Southern town.

Wonderful week

My husband and I stayed here to be with family for our grandson’s high school graduation. It was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was clean. Although, we did not cook that much, the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Location was great. We walked to town and the Farmers Market. Also, around the corner from the May River. The owner was accommodating if we needed anything. This is a great place to stay!

What a fabulous location! This carriage house is perfect for a couple. Walk to virtually everything in Old Town Bluffton - especially close to the public wharf / park area where you can watch fabulous sunsets. I can't imagine a more perfect setting - we will be back!
