Superb cabin on McKenzie close to hiking, nordic skiing and snowshoeing
All the comforts of home! Lovely screened in porch facing McKenzie River enjoyed snuggled up in blankets. We hiking, nordic skied and snowshoed.

This cabin is absolutely spotless and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch listening to the river when we weren’t hiking or attending wedding festivities. We highly recommend this property and would definitely return if we are ever in the area again. Great cabin, easy check-in, perfect location.

This cabin is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is situated on a beautiful lawn that leads to the river. Sitting at the river's edge was delightful. I look forward to renting this cabin again.

Totally wonderful!
So much more wonderful than we had imagined. Beautifully clean, well-outfitted, huge, comfortable beds, big tv that was easy to use, but above all a spectacular location right on the Mackenzie River.

The most beautiful place!
This was the perfect place to stay. So relaxing, quiet, with beautiful views. At night time, we came outside to look at the stars (INCREDIBLE VIEW!). The cabin was clean & cozy. The McKenzie General Store & Obsidian Grill Restaurant is literally a 10 second drive - which is a general store, restaurant, and has coffee as well. This was very convenient for us. Also, we loved hearing the river from the cabin on the porch. You must stay here when visiting McKenzie Bridge!

Cleanest property on Vrbo!
This place is not only absolutely beautiful and right on the riverfront, but it was also the very cleanest vacation home I have ever stayed in! Absolutely spotless which allowed me to completely relax and not worry about "cooties" from dirty furniture, throw blankets and throw pillows. Thank you for all the care and hard work you put into your space and for sharing with others!

Best lil cabin in the woods
We had the most relaxing and rejuvenating stay and we can’t wait to go back again! The wildlife was amazing, from the squirrels to the lady bugs! It’s just a short jont to belknap springs where we enjoyed a dip in the hot spring at the lodge! And the pizza and salad bar at Takedos was delicious!!! 10 out of 10 recommended to all and we WILL visit again!!!

Idyllic Cabin Retreat
This property exceeded our expectations with it's incredible location, views, and overall beauty and charm. Basically, when you imagine a lovely cabin in the woods, but with all of the modern amenities and conveniences, this is the place. Large, comfortable beds and comforters (rare in rental properties), clean, modern bathrooms, charming fireplace, and a gorgeous living room with a screened in porch - everything was just right. Our family enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Beautiful Cabin & Perfect Getaway!
What a perfect cabin to relax in & enjoy. The views are gorgeous. So comfy & cozy with just enough space, plenty of extra blankets, games to play & movies to watch by the fireplace! Our family had so much fun exploring the property, the river and relaxing by the firepit. The beds & bedding were comfortable & clean. The kitchen comes well stocked to prepare a meal, had some extra gadgets & staples too! The screened in porch was a great bonus also! Hosts were so nice & easy to work with. Our family will definitely be back in the warmer months to make more memories :)

We flew in for a wedding
The property over all is well taken care of and from inside our cabin we felt like the only ones there. Our cabin ( #9 ) was very comfortable and clean. Such a well made cabin and well stocked, that I felt right at home and wish I had stayed longer.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful home right on the McKenzie River in the middle of the Willamette National Forest. Went hiking and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. Only wish we had stayed another night. Very cozy and comfortable accomodations. Would love to visit again.

We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every one of them. Needed some down time and this was just the place for it. Sat on the porch most days reading and listening to the river. The close proximity to the hot springs is a bonus. Will definitely return soon!

Loved this cabin. Loved the area. The cabin had everything we needed and it's in such a beautiful location. I just wish they accepted dogs. Everywhere we went everybody (even in lots of the other cabins) had their dogs and we missed ours.

This property was incredible! The location was perfect, felt like we had plenty of privacy. The pictures on the website were really good but did not do the accommodations justice! The kitchen was well stocked, we wanted for nothing! The screened-in porch was great, got to listen to the music of the River with no bugs. I can’t say enough good things about this place!! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a little piece of heaven! Thank you to Jonathan and Lisa for a magnificent Girls Getaway!! This place ended up being one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. There are multi cabins at the location but cabin #9 is particularly nice. Nice furniture and absolutely amazing views out every window. 3 things to keep in mind. 1. It does have a/c but it’s only a small unit upstairs so in 100 weather it was not very effective at keeping whole cabin cool and cabin got very warm downstairs. 2. It is up for sale so I don’t know what happens if you reserve and it sells. 3. You can’t wear shoes inside. Sucks if you have foot problems. All and all this was absolutely amazing and I already booked it again. This place is right next to the best white water rafting I have ever done. Even if it’s not your thing give the 1/2 day a try. It might sound intimidating or dangerous but it really wasn’t. Just 3 hours of the most beautiful views. Also you will get wet, you don’t have to get in water but the rapids will splash you, especially if upfront.

Great location and very comfortable!
The location of this cabin along with the size and comfy feeling of it was great for our 2 couples who were in the area a couple of days of golf at Tokatee Golf Club. It was really fun to wake up to multiple inches of snow on our last morning. The only item we found off was the listing said their was a Keurig coffee machine (which both couples use at their respective home and brought k-cups) but we could not find one so had to get some ground coffee at the store up the road. All in all a great place to stay while in the area.

Thank you for your review, Diana! We had to replace the Keurig with a regular drip coffee maker. It turns out that Keurigs are a little too fragile for rental properties. We now provide quality coffee as well. Please come again. Jonathan

Great stay exceeded expectations
The cabin was spotless and comfortable. The setting was beautiful. The property manager was there to greet us and provided helpful area information. Hiking and waterfall nearby. A couple of good spots to eat and drink nearby. Impressed and happy with the experience.

This beautiful “cabin” beat our expectations! Sitting on the screened in porch listening to the rushing river was well worth bundling up for. A close to drive to gorgeous hike/walks around waterfalls. We had great food and listened to live music at the General Store. 2 nights was both to short and totally restful. Riverside cabin getaway
If you’re looking for a place to ‘get away from it all” then you have found it here! After unpacking the first thing we did was go out to the sunroom, sit down and look at and listen to the beautiful river. This was a great location to be able to let the city go and get back in touch with nature.. We would highly recommend this cabin! Jonathon was a great host! All the amenities you might need are available here. We had a great time chilling and had a chance to go and see Sahalie Falls on our last day - just beautiful!

Anniversary Stay
My wife and I, both 80 years old, enjoyed our wedding anniversary while staying at Jonathan & Lisa's cabin #9. The first time we stayed at a cabin/house where "everything" was perfect. The king size bed was as comfortable as ours at home - and that's important to 80-yr olds. The river was only about 30-40 ft away, always to be heard. One cannot go wrong by staying there.
