'Clean room & nice balcony to sit & enjoy the golf course view. Continental breakfast was warm, friendly & clean . Easy to grab a coffee, bagel & go. Nice service woman, very friendly & helpful'

'Great little old-school motel! circa 1960s? Well maintained for the price, I like the linoleum floors instead of carpet. Close to beaches, thrift and antique stores, Best of all great grounds: a working pool, an artificial waterfall flowing into a small fishpond. Lots of places to sit and relax, alone or with others. Grills and BBQ's around. Big field behind it for frisky pooches like mine. Or even a croquet pitch. Was under some grounds repair, but for the $$ well worth it. Will be back for...

'Charming home with'

'Hotel only opened a year ago and having a nice new room on block island is rare. Loved the place. Great location and wonderful amenities such as roof top deck and trendy restaurant/ bar. The check in process is different but seamless as no lobby.'

'We really loved our two nights day at Phil and Ann‘s. The rooms were clean. The air-conditioning worked great the staff was wonderful. The room was quite small but recently updated so everything was new. The beds were comfortable pillows were nice linens, spelt clean, and fresh. Love the little amenities on the property fire pits, basketball volleyball, badminton little putt putt, mini golf. We would definitely stay there again to enjoy a few days in Rhode Island.'

'We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return.'

'Hotel accommodations were comfortable, clean and quiet- just the way I like them. Room was a good size and amenities were great. Front staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and the selection, although limited, was good. Excellent choice in the area and I would recommend it to anyone.'
