A short drive takes you to some of Iceland’s most famous attractions: Geysir, Gullfoss, and Brúarfoss, as well as restaurants like Hvönn, Efsti-Dalur, Mika, and Friðheimar. You’ll also find a convenience store nearby.

Good spot for aurora viewing, and the fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals.

The space
Enjoy a cozy stay in this well-insulated modern cabin, located along Road 35 in the heart of the Golden Circle. Even though it is only 21 sq meters it is designed for comfort in all seasons, the cabin is fully insulated with Rockwool, making it warm and energy-efficient year-round. With electric heating and large bright windows that let in natural light, you’ll experience both comfort and countryside views. For restful nights, the bedroom features quality blinds to block out the midnight sun in summer.

The road is regularly serviced in winter, ensuring easy access even in snowy conditions.

Your safety is a priority, with a fire extinguisher and smoke alarms installed for peace of mind. Whether you're here to chase the northern lights or explore Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes, this cabin is the perfect home base for your adventure.

Other things to note
If travelling with a child, we can offer a small inflatable mattress for a child and bed sheets at no cost that could be located in the living room or on the floor in the bedroom. But keep in mind that the house is small and there are only two dining chairs and it's not really made for more than two people.
