Good, but.
Stayed here several times. Friendly staff, lovely food. Clean hotel. Sadly beds are so uncomfortable affecting quality of sleep.

this is a lovely family-style hotel (though equally suitable for people like us in a couple). beautifully clean throughout and a very comfortable room with all the facilities (coffee/tea, tv, safe, toiletries, plentiful towels etc). breakfast was selfserve and plentiful with good quality bacon, sausages etc (not the cheap stuff some places might use). lovely attentive staff, especially the ladies on reception, who seemed to really care you'd had a good stay. in addition we were allowed into our room on arrival which was earlier than the official checkin time. thanks Carousel, we loved our stay.

The hotel was ok, noisy even after 11pm(but they did have a party in hotel, the room we was in was next to the stairs and you could heard every creaky stair.Bed was hard, some people may like this but i couldn'tsleep. The shower was small. Breakfast was ok self service.

Great stay at the Carousel, we just stayed for 1 night we found room very clean and comfortable. Family room decent size with 1 double bed & bunk beds. Staff friendly and helpful Good breakfast included - plenty of choice Will stay again!

Not a great stay
I booked this stay with a double bed and a sofa bed. The confirmation arrived and all was fine. When i arrived at the hotel, they let me have the room early which was great, however, the room was a double bed and a bunk bed, not great for a three and one year old. I went to reception and explained this was not was booked and they said that they were full and we had to have that room. So not a great start to our stay. It stated that all mattresses were memory foam. Our bed was certainly not memory foam and i had to use the mattress from the top bunk bed on top of the double bed. A most uncomfortable stay.

Really good hotel clean and a good location if you dont want to be in the middle of town,comfortable bed nice room,friendly staff,tram stop across the road,15 minute walk to pleasure Beach. Wheelchair access. Overall fantastic for what we paid. Also very nice breakfast 👍👍👍

One new got of pure comfort
Arrived by rail , caught the tram from the North to Harrow and the hotel is situated across the road . First impression was excellent . Staff very friendly and accommodating, check in was fast and meal times made known . The lift is dated but works well if the previous person closes the “ gate “ so the lift can be recalled . Bedroom fair size and clean, plenty storage availabilities for 2 people, bathroom small , great power shower, beds very clean and comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom plus hairdryer and towels . Breakfast was plentiful and delicious . There was entertainment there last night and was very good. Had a game of bingo, live music and to the 3 girls dancing, we all thought you were amazing and clearly attend dance classes, keep it up xx

Fantastic value for money.
For the price compared to other hotels, this place was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic. We were worried the location was a bit far from the promenade but it was closer than we thought and the trams were right outside the hotel. Layout is a bit of a maze and bathroom was a bit small but overrall, for anyone wanting to see the illuminations or stay a few nights, I would absolutely recommend this place and I'd be more than happy to stay here again ❤️

Me and my Partner enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was great the parking was hit and miss but we still managed to park. The only downfall was the noise, the walls seem to be quite thin and the first night we didn’t sleep well due to a few kids being loud but that’s not the hotels issue. Overall lovely stay and would definitely come again.

We stayed at the Carousel in summer and brought the children, the rooms and bathroom are lovely and clean (albeit a bit old fashioned but I don't care about that as long as it's clean). The breakfast is good with enough choice of food and drinks, the tram stop is opposite so it's really easy to get about. One thing is if you can't get there first thing then you might struggle for parking on the front, but on this occasion we managed to find one at the back of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel, it's one of the nicer ones in Blackpool and is good value for money.

We came for the night with grandson for illuminations lovely hotel room was really clean tidy and cosy. Hotel lovely and clean breakfast was lovely self service which is great. Staff very polite and helpful. Only one thing was we returned back to room with 3 year old grandson and we could hear the entertainment from Downstairs it was very loud.

We were going to a show needed somewhere to stay south shore hotels are usually the best and south shore is nice and quiet Can definitely recommend this hotel staff great smart and hotel very clean and great breakfast

It was ok for me however no sockets near the bed, they were on the wall as you come in the room, too hot but couldn’t use the fan as socket too far away to make a difference, bed uncomfortable pillows non existent, I had the breakfast it was nice however I asked for a very cold glass of semi skimmed milk to be told they didn’t have any what hotel doesn’t have milk ?

Really impressed. Probably best hotel in blackpool very well kept lovely warm clean rooms. The room wasn’t big but that doesn’t matter it was really nice and staff were great. Breakfast was really good too and included.

Stayed 2 nights to attend PNE game, quiet, comfortable twin room, small but had everything we needed. Got parked right outside the hotel for free. Powerful shower and housekeeping saw to our room with fresh towels and coffee. Special mention to the lads at breakfast, smartly turned out and very attentive. A real credit to the hotel, and the breakfast was awesome too! I would have no hesitation staying here again.
