The ocean and its wide, sandy beaches are just a 5-minute drive away.

The large Lake Biscarrosse, located 1 km from the villa, is the largest in western France. It’s ideal for families with young children, as the freshwater is warmer than the ocean and the shallow depth allows young children to play safely.
The ocean waves are particularly invigorating and energizing, and a delight for water sports enthusiasts. Numerous surf schools offer lessons for beginners and experienced surfers all summer long.
Biscarrosse is a prime oceanfront location from which to explore Bordeaux and its architecture, history, museums, and, of course, its vineyards. In fact, just a 1-hour drive from the great Haut-Médoc estates such as Margaux, Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Julien, and Pauillac—or a 1.5-hour drive from the Sauternes wines—a visit is a must for wine lovers.
Finally, if you’d like to take a longer trip, Biscarrosse is located 1 hour and 40 minutes from Bayonne, a fortified town neighboring the world-famous seaside resort of Biarritz. You can also visit the small port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, explore Spain with a trip to the charming city of San Sebastián, or enjoy the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region.
All these destinations are within a 150-km radius of Biscarrosse.

The villa features a large covered terrace with a barbecue, where you can enjoy your meals in peace while overlooking the pool and the fully enclosed garden, which is filled with pine and oak trees—ideal for children.
