'It was a beautiful, well kept up home run by a wonderful family! So fun to visit with other people staying there! And the breakfast was excellent!'

'Prima locatie, dichtbij het centrum van Bar Harbor. Schone ruime kamer en genoeg parkeerplek achter het hotel. Het ontbijt had iets gevarieerder gekund, maar het was wel fijn dat er elke dag verse koekjes en cakejes werden gebakken.'

'Unique place to stay. Small but perfect for what we needed. Everything worked fine. Wish it had an actual heating system rather than a portable heater. Got pretty cold and I was afraid to leave the heater on while we were out. This meant longer heating times. Convenient location to Winter Harbor and Ellsworth. Recommend pod-type coffee maker. It would be easier and less messy than bags of coffee.'

'room was clean and updated. room was facing the road and was extremely noisy with trucks and motorcycles, etc.. at about 5:55am woke up to a trailer dropping off bulk supplies and up and down their metal ramp. rooms are not soundproof whatsoever, walls sounded like they were made of paper and we could hear absolutely everything on both sides of us. hotel was walkable and parking was super convenient, but noise was definitely an issue.'

'Sandbar Cottage Inn is truly an amazing place to stay. The Innkeeper, Chris, is super helpful and so welcoming! Location is perfect to walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby and so close to the water. Breakfast is included and it’s wonderful! My husband and I will definitely be back! Kim'

'Very lovely property. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Manor was in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay.'

'Good value for the location - but - the room (25) we stayed in did have lots of noise issues between the heat pump system and the upstairs guests. Also the TVs are very outdated and have no way to connect to streaming services. Overall still happy with our stay as the location is excellent and the room comfortable.'

'Goede locatie, vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime parkeergelegenheid, grenst aan achterzijde aan het park, shuttle bus service is super handig ook als je om 08:30 een Whale Watch trip hebt geboekt, prima complimentary ontbijt (vers fruit beschikbaar zoals banaan, sinasappel, blauwe bessen)'

'Loved the spot great snacks, cookies, kind bars, fresh pastries, fruit, juice, yogurt. Close to shopping and lots of restaurants! Easy walk to Harbour and sightseeing, large room with kitchen , bedroom, bath, living room, nice hearted in bathroom. Only issue, not too many plates mixed up, 2 dinner, 3 salad, 5 bowls???? And no place to eat at no table or chairs so had to sit on couch and use foot stool to place plates…very ODD AND UNCOMFORTABLE Also impossible even at 5 ft 11 to reach kitchen...

'Our stay was amazing through and through. Everything was very clean, the inn was very cozy and felt like coming home. Juliana was incredibly helpful and her cooking was wonderful! From breakfast, to the 4 o’clock bakings, to the cookies and muffins you could grab to go, we WILL be back because of all that!'

'Location was great'

'The inn keeper was fantastic. The grounds and inn were beautiful and well kept. I can’t say enough about the overall comfort vibe enough. I will say there are a few things that need further consideration. Such as, leaving matches and anything you might need to light the fireplace in our room. Really just the little touches that may be missing. But I would definitely recommend and would stay there again. A really exceptional inn. ❤️'

'I liked my stay at the Bat Harbor Grand Hotel. The room was good and spacious, breakfast was sufficient in choice and the surrounding island is beautiful. Parking super comfortable and free.'

'Great place to stay. Amazing views.'

'Schone kamer, locatie top, Bar Harbor op loop afstand en beschikbaarheid van de koffie thee water fruit en sap was geweldig. Ontbijt was okay'

'Mooi modern hotel midden in het centrum . Hebben sauna , hot tub en fitness ruimte. De ruimte om het ontbijt te nuttigen is wel heel krap. Genoeg variatie . Kamer is netjes, schoon en modern.'
