Arthouse Bay of Fires is a beautiful beach house, moments away from the secluded northern end of Binalong Bay.

Nestled in a private and protected natural wonderland with immediate access to the beach and walking tracks. The Bay of Fires area stretches north from here with luminous white sandy beaches lined with pink granite boulders and aquamarine shorelines.

Our beach house is architect designed and superbly appointed offering two queen sized bedrooms that adjoin a modern bathroom with bath and two hand basins. The expansive, light open plan living area lead onto large north facing deck and overlooks the secluded garden with ocean sounds and water glimpses. Individually styled featuring original artwork, bespoke and collectable furnishings.

Arthouse has a fabulous gourmet cooks kitchen with a great complimentary pantry of condiments that meets most people's needs.

We have an eclectic library of books, music and films to keep you happy.
We have a separate art studio space complete with art materials to play with.
Arthouse offers you a unique experience in a personalised and luxurious environment, perfectly positioned with deserted pristine beaches and abundant wildlife on your doorstep. It is worth noting we are completely protected from the prevailing winds that are so often found to be roaring along the east coast of Tasmania.

You will feel instantly at home and leave feeling inspired and renewed, Arthouse is perfect for people seeking more than just a crash pad.
All you need are your clothes and fresh provisions which can be found in great supply just ten minutes away in St Helens. Oyster lovers will be in heaven with the local oyster Lease five minutes away!

Arthouse Bay of Fires is a two-hour drive from Launceston airport and three hours drive from Hobart Airport.

We welcome people over the age of 10. Please contact us regarding this policy as we are flexible. Please note the house is not set up for small children.

Arthouse is seriously special. We felt as though the house and the land unveiled herself to us over 4 magical days. Reading, writing, cooking, dancing, playing music, listening to the waves, baths, walks, bliss!
The groovy nature of the art & home enhanced and added to the joy.
A sensational place to be. All the things I normally pack to create a magic weekend are already here; cookbooks, herbs, candles, good music, great books, yoga mats, a kite, paints..

Beautiful by the beach!

We had a wonderful time at the Art House. Our boys loved the art studio and created some beautiful paintings, pictures and creations in the space. Our family enjoyed how close we were to the beach and the beautiful walks in both directions - to both Binalong Bay and also Jenneret Bay and beyond. Well equipped house, lovely kitchen, great fire place area and space outside for the kids to burn off some energy. Beautiful and peaceful! Highly recommend!

Fantastic location

If proximity to the beach is what you are after, you won't do much better than ArtHouse! Its about a 2min walk out the front gate to the northern end of Binnalong Bay beach, which is almost always deserted. The house itself is set up really well. A massive garage for storing stuff, two nice sized bedrooms (the main with views out over the private enclosed garden) and a nice big open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The woodfire saved us one night when the power went out (our friends staying up the road had to shiver through the night). Jan, the host that looks after this house (along with many other houses in the Binnalong area) is super-attentive, and helped sort out any issues we had. The people that designed the kitchen must all be 10 foot tall, 'cause the cupboards above the benches are unnaturally high. But that's just me being picky. Everything else about the place was spot on

Perfect, cozy home in an incredible location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arthouse. Such a beautiful, eclectic home right on the Bay of Fires. The most peaceful location on the quieter, and in our opinion, the more beautiful end of the bay. We will definitely be back to the Bay of Fires and hope to stay at Arthouse again.
