Black Eagle Lodges are one of the most sought-after locations for guests who want quick access to everything Big Sky has to offer while enjoying a quiet, wooded setting.



Nestled in the scenic heart of the Madisons, Big Sky, Montana, offers an unparalleled base for year-round adventures. Located just an hour from both Yellowstone National Park and the vibrant college town of Bozeman, this charming community is perfectly positioned for exploration.



“Basecamp to Yellowstone” at Big Sky Resort serves as the ultimate launchpad for outdoor enthusiasts. In the summer, embark on scenic lift rides, guided hikes, and adrenaline-pumping activities like mountain biking and ziplining. The resort's Adventure Zipline is particularly thrilling, featuring four lines that span up to 1,500 feet and soar 150 feet above the forest floor, offering breathtaking views of Lone Mountain and the Spanish Peaks. Ski Access:

Access to the slopes is just out your door:



Ski Out: Exit through the garage and head straight to connect to the Bear Back Poma Lift, which provides easy access to Ramcharger and Swift Current.



Ski In (Intermediate/Expert): Take Silverknife to Bear Back Poma, then veer left before the bottom to glide right back toward the townhome.



Ski In (Beginner): Use the Summit Hotel route, then ski along the road to return to the unit.



Please note: The Bear Back Poma typically opens in early December, depending on snow conditions. Ski-in/ski-out access is available once the lift is operating.

Bedroom 2 (upper level): Queen bed with shared hallway bathroom, walk-in shower

Bedroom 3 (upper level): King bed and a twin over twin bunk bed with attached shared bathroom, walk-in shower



Guest Access:

Parking: This unit is allowed 2 vehicles: 1 parked in the garage, 1 in the driveway



Getting Around:

We highly recommend that our guests rent a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months (October-May). Please be aware that shuttle services must be booked in advance, and rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are unavailable in the area.
