Knotty Corner Cottage is a pretty, chocolate box, thatched cottage, located in the little hamlet of Fairy Cross. It is the perfect choice for a family holiday or a relaxing break with friends, whatever the time of year. This delightful, detached cottage, refurbished in 2018, is peacefully located on a no through road, but conveniently situated just 1 mile from Bideford and close to the glorious North Devon coast, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a comfortable living room, three bedrooms, two shower rooms, one of which is en-suite, and a bathroom, this cottage is a great choice. Relax in the large garden complete with gas barbecue and gazebo, where the owners’ ducks and geese may wander in to say hello. The games room beside the cottage, with table tennis and projector screen to watch TV or a film, is perfect for all generations to relax and unwind.

There are many lovely coastal villages to explore including nearby Bucks Mills, Peppercombe, Clovelly, with its donkey transport, and Hartland. The delightful port town of Bideford has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants, a weekly market and boat trips to Lundy Island. Garden lovers will enjoy nearby Royal Horticultural Society Garden Rosemoor and Docton Mill and Gardens.

Renowned for its beauty, the beach at Westward Ho! is just 4 miles away, and offers 2 miles of sandy beach, known as the Golden Bay, and is popular with surfers. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer close by, and for family fun The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park are not to be missed.
