Large open yard with marsh and water views, just steps to the sandy beach and steps to the Harbor where you can kayak. This property is unique in that it is one of the best bird-watching spots in North America. It sits adjacent to Rachael Carson Nature Preserve. Rent this cottage and invite extended family or friends to come along and join you with the next door cottage which sleeps 6, total can be up to 10 people if rented with next door property, please ask for details if more than 4 people...if you book early, next door with extra bedrooms may be available too!

    This cottage is a hidden gem! Perfect for a couple, or a family of four or five. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated in fresh beach decor. Light, bright and cheery. Enjoy your morning coffee on the wrap around deck, and listen to the waves crashing. Grill out in the back garden, enjoy the fantastic sunset views from your back patio deck, morning and afternoon sun on the deck. Free non resident parking and free beach parking pass. Enjoy your freshly steamed lobster and clams, or fresh fish from our general store just around the corner.

    Host a family reunion, clambake or rehearsal dinner or wedding in the adjacent garden with fantastic sunset and water views. Or just sit and relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the lobster boats and sailboats. Wedding receptions galore here! Memories are made here! No events will be on site during your stay if you are just renting the vacation cottage.

The View !

The location of this property is beautiful! The house is very bright and spacious . With Beach access directly across the road the ocean is there whenever you want! Very peaceful in the evening watching the sunset over the Biddeford Pool!

Relaxing and beautiful property

This is a beautiful property with peaceful water views and amazing easy beach access. We had a perfect weekend and just wish we had more time and could have stayed longer. Wonderful and responsive host. Highly recommend this property, especially if you want a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the water.

Mile stretch getaway

Ideal location. Entire house with everything you need and the beach decor makes you feel like you are on vacation. Unreal views all day. Show stopper is the sunsets. Beach right across the street. So many restaurants, gifts shops and community activities going on. This rental is a must!

Weekend in Biddeford Pool

We had a fantastic weekend stay in Biddeford Pool...our first time in the area. The house was very clean inside, property host Sarah was very responsive on a few questions we had leading up to stay and the view is spectacular! Short walk to the beach was easy to do with young kids/baby and the neighborhood is walkable for an evening stroll as well. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at this house! It’s perfectly situated by the beach, just a stone’s throw away from the charming village of Biddeford Pool. You can even grab some fresh, steamed lobster at the grocery store there. The house offers breathtaking views of the sunset and the bay, and there’s plenty of great outdoor space for relaxation. Parking is also a breeze. The host is incredibly friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We even had a travel massage for our anniversary, and this house was the perfect venue for it!

I wasn’t familiar with this area before our stay. I have to say we will definitely be back! What a lovely and relaxing trip. The views cannot be beat, the beach a short walk across the street was wonderful. This is a pet friendly place, and we had such fun on our walks on the beach and cool people/pet friendly path with an interesting past. The village up the street is completely charming and convenient. Communication with the host was an A.

A Perfect Coastal Getaway - Can’t Wait to Return!

I absolutely loved staying at Sarah's cottage! It perfectly embodies quintessential coastal Maine style, with gorgeous views, breathtaking sunsets, and the beach right across the street. You can even hear the soothing sound of the ocean at night! I had never been to Biddeford Pool before, and I’m so happy I found this listing. I fell in love with both the town and this charming home. Sarah was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout my stay. I definitely plan on returning!

We are so grateful that we could spend our family summer vacation, this year, with our dog! To us, that was a plus. Going to Gilbert Boucher beach was only a few minutes walking, and that made it easy to go multiple times a day. It was great that we could walk our dog on the beach before 9AM and after 5PM, and go back again to do "boogie board" and play in the sand as often that we wanted! The cottage is also very near Goldwaith's store, it was fun to walk there in the evening to get an icecream, or going biking in the beautiful and quiet streets. We enjoyed the cottage's relaxing views on the Pool and the confortable beds.We really had a great time and would go back again.

Perfect Location

The 2-mile beach was a few steps from the front door. We brought our dog who enjoyed running the sands till 9am and every evening. Easy walk to the local market and eatery. Biddeford Pool has a couple walkable bird sanctuaries and the town itself is very picturesque. The rental is on the second floor (18 stairs) which gets you above the hedges for a great view of the sunsets. While the space was a great size, the seating was somewhat awkward. We mostly sat at the table in the dining area in the evening and did painting/beading. It was a relaxing 6 days, which is what we wanted.

Relaxing and quiet

It suited our purposes perfectly. My wife and I just wanted a quiet, stress-free get-away to celebrate our anniversary. The outside property could use some work. Lots of clutter, lawn furniture in disrepair, yard not well maintained, grill which was in posting not functional. If you were looking to have an event here the place would need some work. If you are just looking for a little romantic time away it's perfect.

Our stay at the pool

The property is a perfect spot with Biddeford Pool on the back side and the beach right across the street. Beautiful view from the deck especially when the sun goes down. A little too hot during the day when the sun is beating down. Would have been a lot better if there was some kind of table with umbrella on the deck. We had a problem with the refrigerator when we arrived but Sarah got to work on it right away and provided us with ice in the mean time. She even offered to reimburse us for some of our meats that were lost due to this, She was very easy to get a hold of and responsive. Overall the place was perfect for our vacation.

The Most Spectacular Setting

Booked this because of description of setting, was even better than expected. Lots of morning time sitting on expansive deck looking at bay and water. Beautiful sunsets and public beach a 3 minute walk away. Short walk to area with a restaurant/store and a nice gift shop, otherwise very quiet, which is what we wanted. Inside apt. also very pleasant and relaxing, nice artwork, lots of windows and seating areas. One note: it's 2nd floor, accessible only by outside stairs. But can leave strollers, bikes, beach wagons etc. downstairs. Very responsive prop. manager. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful location, but property needs significant work

Pictures for this listing are 10 years old. That beautiful picnic table in the listing is now a broken table that should have been thrown out. Curtains and chairs are all stained. The bedroom door and bathroom doors do not close. Exterior French doors do not open. Dust and dirt are in the cutlery drawers, under and behind beds, on heating and cooling vents (but these are labeled with do not use anyway). I'm glad we brought our own bedding. I was extremely disappointed with the false advertising for this property. As a result, we checked out early.

Amazing, didn't want to leave

This property was insanely beautiful. Views of the pool on one side, ocean on the other. Walk across the street to an amazing beach. It was so perfect! Sarah was a great host, very helpful and communicative. This rental was perfect in every way, we simply didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful view and amazing access to beach

It’s all about the water views and this place has it. Great deck to enjoy the views of the pool morning to evening. And the beach access across the street was wonderful - beautiful sandy beach. The apartment is beautifully decorated. Might be helpful for folks to know the stairs to access the apartment are steep and you have to walk through some buggy grass. But otherwise a great stay and lovely place to spend relaxing days by the water!

Location, location, location

We had a nice stay at this well positioned property with our toddler and baby. The back deck has an idyllic view, and it is a very easy, short walk to the perfect, empty beach. It allowed for easy hand offs for our toddler and baby, and lots of fun in the sand. Annoyingly the late summer mosquitoes were unbearable in the lower yard, and the steps were slightly treacherous with the children. The interior was as pictured- but definitely a well-worn beachy feel. We would have preferred a more updated and streamlined residence (lots of piles of stuff in open closets, drawers, etc), but it was comfortable enough. Unfortunately due to the open plan of the twin beds, my husband and I were unable to really relax in the evenings- we had to sneak around the toddler in the twin bed and baby in a pack-and-play (we brought) in our room. So, perhaps not the best pick for a family with young children.

Great place and location

We loved staying at this house. It was cozy with an incredible view of Biddeford Pool and wildlife (coyote and herons) in the adjacent Rachel Carson Refuge. The walk to the beach is 2 minutes - we walked with 3 young kids multiple times a day and loved going after dinner to see the tidal pools. The outdoor shower made it really convenient to come home with sandy kids and rinse off before going into the house. The host was very kind and helpful. She also allowed us to have our dog with us which was great. - Thank you!

Gorgeous Views. Perfect Location for a Low Key Getaway

This home was perfect for our family. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the views were breath taking. Sarah was an incredible host from start to finish. The area is quiet and relaxing but close enough to the action in Kennebunkport. We rented with our two children (9 and 12) and it was perfect for us.
