B&B in Bicester

'The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots...

'Easy walking distance from the centre '

'It is truly a unique experience in a marvellous town. The family room is at the far end of the pub, private and still you can mingle with the pub crowd if you want too. The bus to Oxford (once per hour in the weekend) stops in front of the pub, an absolute plus. There’s only room for four cars at the parking so get in there in time. If you have a dust allergy it’s better to chose something else. This is a couple of hundred years old environment; it’s prown to have dust. '

'We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door een enthousiaste eigenaar (Petter). We waren ruim te vroeg al op locatie maar de kamer was al klaar en we waren welkom. Ruime nette en schone kamer en badkamer met een koelkastje en goede wifi. En voldoende ruimte op het terrein om gratis te parkeren. Het guest house ligt op een minuut of 25 lopen van het centrum. Maar vlak voor de deur stoppen ook zeer frequent bussen als je daar gebruik van wilt maken. Wat ons betreft een prima verblijf!'

'Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is a bit further out which means you should plan travel accordingly. The rooms were clean and the staff gave you all the information you needed if you had to contact them.'

'I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed. Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry. Room was really homely and clean. Hotel has a car park onsite. I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar.'

'This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world. It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel. Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!'

'This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening.
