'We loved staying at the steamboat very unique'

'We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for...

'I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy . There is no staff except a cleaning lady that speaks a little English . There is a phone number on the office door you have to call to check in and follow instructions. Hopefully you don't get a busy signal . While on the phone getting a code to retrieve the room keys , my wife watched the cleaning lady go through a garbage bag full of dirty laundry looking for something clean to exchange with another guest . My wife worked for a major motel...

'First of all, upon entering the room, there was a bad smell; the room was dusty, and there was even a spiderweb on the ceiling. There were no proper curtains—just a thin blind so far too much light streamed in early in the morning, and the bathtub was disgusting. In the hotel corridors, the carpets were dirty and smelled bad, and trash and debris were never cleaned up during our stay. We left a day early; I didn't want to stay in that hotel any longer.
