'Seriously, folks, we must have stayed when the hotel was understaffed. The bed in our room had a yellowish wet spot in the middle of the mattress which forced us to switch rooms. The “fitted” bed sheets were placed 90 degrees the wrong way and kept coming off. The toilet seat was not fastened to the toilet. The room frig’s 4-inch wide freezer was iced over so much that you could only fit something 1-inch wide in it. The hallways were messy. The only redeeming quality was the honest efforts of...

'The room itself was great and the continental breakfast was wonderful; however, a fire alarm test happened without notification which the staff said they tried calling our room to warn us, but we did not receive a phone call, nor did my neighbor. Not a big deal, but just an unnecessary inconvenience.'

'Overall we had a good stay. The property was going through a renovation which impacted our stay. The room we stayed in was already renovated and was very nice. Noise level was not a problem either. Breakfast was pretty good as well. '

'The space was very nice for visiting, the kitchen was well equipped except can opener should be trashed and new one gotten. Home was clean and very bright - so many windows. Beds/sleeping was not what was posted on VRBO. Not cleaning the sidewalks and driveway in a timely manner after the snow and leaving us a grain shovel to scoop with was not ideal for anyone. We also had to fix the fireplace ourselves as your repair person could not come until 3 days after check-in. I would say the home is...

'There were 6 adults in our party and felt the place was roomy and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. I did not notice any thermostats to control heating or air conditioning but luckily the weather was cool for Labor Day weekend so that wasn't an issue. I would have liked to see more seating in the living room area. There was an L shaped sectional only and so all six of us couldn't sit and watch TV. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again.'

'A beautiful home with a view of the Missouri River and the Gavins Point Dam. Located just outside of Yankton, South Dakota, but close enough for shopping or evening entertainment. '

'It was a wonderful property about a 5 minute drive to marina. Lots of wildlife. Property was well stocked and clean. Plenty of room for everyone. The one negative was that there is no television in the living room. So if you want to watch a game or movie as a group, there is no larger space with a tv to do so. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.'
