'The staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy. However. Our room was NOT clean at all. The microwave was disgusting, the fridge was dirty. The beds had hair in them and there were someone's dirty socks left behind. The breakfast was a 0☆ as it was watered down orange juice, waffles and snack cakes.'

'Cute, cozy cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor space for entertaining or relaxing by the lake and fire. Note that there’s no TV. WiFi was good for us. Lots of windows to let natural light in. We had a good time and will certainly be back!'

'We thoroughly enjoy our mid-week stay on Big Barbee, with a small group of friends & family. We rented a pontoon from Socks Marina, for early morning fishing at Barbee & Irish Lake. The local restaurants were within walking distance. Thank you so much!'

'Wonderful property! Everything well done, clean, and, nice furnishings. Well stocked kitchen, bath linens and heat was warm during cold days. Garage at top level full of games refrigerator and TV. Grand kids loved the games and to lay on the bunk beds in the bunk room and play their IPads when they got screen time. . The main floor has beautiful view and great setup for tv room. Main bedroom feels like a small castle bedroom. There’s a sitting space with TV and 2 lovely bedrooms in lower floor...

'This is such a lovely property right on the lake. We loved the large patio and took advantage of the firebowl in the evenings. We also appreciated being able to have our doggies with us. We also like that it's close to two golf courses we enjoy playing. '

'The small house was perfect for my wife and I when visiting relatives in the area. We utilized the kitchen every morning and slept comfortably. The loft at the top of the metal spiral staircase in the kitchen looks like it would be lots of fun for kids, but we did not use it. We also did not use the garage (manual open/close) or the side yard with fire pit (which had wood available for cash purchase). The tree covered slope in back gives a sense of privacy.
