'The place was impeccable, thoughtful and inviting. The self checkout worked perfectly. It did lack a little direction when arriving but otherwise, this i a very well hidden gem and i would love to see the concept elsewhere. It makes me want to go back to Deer Island every day just to sleep there!'

'Excellent location for touring the island, and not too close to the ferry traffic and tourist-y spots. We enjoyed the view from the deck and a bit of beach-combing right in our yard. The house has just about everything a visitor could want, made all the nicer by a very friendly, helpful host. Definitely recommend!'

'The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn'

'Cabin right on the page was perfect. Lake is gorgeous. View is 180. Beautiful deck and furniture. Cabin is updated and lovely. Kitchen is nicely sized and very well furnished. Bathroom is also nicely sized and very nice. Living room is very comfortable, well sized, lots of windows, good tv... all good. Bedroom is small but very workable, bed is very comfortable. Host was very nice. '
