'It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay, very relaxing. The property is self check-in, sort of similar to an Airbnb, which I hadn't noticed when I reserved it, but it worked great. They gave us an early check-in since our flight arrived early. It is in a residential area, a little too far to walk to the beach, but taxi service was fast. Also, the one Greek restaurant within walking distance was very good.'

'This is not a traditional hotel in the sense that there's no front lobby staffed 24/7. It's a collection of rooms run I gather by a family. I arrived early and had to pay a bit additional to check in and wait until someone arrived (about 20 minutes) to get into the room. The room was small, but quite comfortable with a fridge and small kitchenette. I was even able to log into my Netflix on the TV, which was nice because there are no English channels. 'The property was very clean and offered coffee and waters. The bed was comfortable and the shower was one of the best features. The AC worked great. Our host arranged for our taxi to get to the apartment, and then offered the free shuttle the next morning. We communicated easily through WhatsApp. The apartment was a 10-minute walk from the downtown area, and we found great pizza and baklava. It was a lovely evening the night before we were to fly out of Athens. I recommend! Gayle'
