« This is one of the most stocked kitchens of a rental I've ever experienced. My husband and I enjoy cooking when away and were very pleased to have access to all the kitchen tools. The knives were actually sharp which has never been the case. We bought fresh lobsters in town and did our own lobster rolls which was possible due to the stocked kitchen. « Beautiful property on a crystal clear lake. Despite being dog-friendly, there were no signs or smells of dogs haven been there. Place was very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Couches were comfy. Nice outdoor seating areas. Close to Ellsworth restaurants, fairly close to Bar Harbor. Went in latter half of October, happy to still see the beautiful colors of fall. « We loved the simplicity, the attention to detail and the location! It is off a main road, but very quiet, no street or city lights at night. The space was very clean - This is a fun 'hotel room' - aka nicer than glamping - easy buttons for lights, the cast iron wood burning stove was a breeze... yes the toilet, kitchen, shower is outside... it all makes sense and works well... very peaceful, and sean was very response and helpful. »

« Exactly what you think of a cabin in the Maine woods. Close to Bucksport. No wifi. Only got one channel on the rabbit ears for the TV, but many movies available to use on the dvd player. Dark outside at night. Quick response from property manager. Would stay there again. »

« The inside apartment was clean new. The first look of the house was old in appearance. The heating was not good in the BR off the kitchen. Bigger BR was toasty. Overall I would return in a minute. Biggest issue was only finding decafe coffee in the cupbord. :( »

« We had such a wonderful stay. The property was spacious, cozy, and the window seating was unbelievably comfortable—perfect for everyone to relax and spread out.
