There was a hip hop party right next to my room and I had to listen to booming base until midnight when I had an important event I was to be at the next morning. When I tried to check out, they told me that the room I stayed in was not under my name, and she could not give me my $100 incidental fee back, until they did some more research. Scheduling loud music parties until midnight and not even having the room I stayed in under my own name, is certainly bad...

'Stayed 6 days over Thanksgiving! Absolutely lovely! The cabin had EVERYTHING you could want or need. It's nestled in a perfect spot facing the lake. The grounds, interior and exterior are all perfectly designed. A covered porch is located on the front AND the back of the cabin. The interior is beautifully maintained with comfy leather furniture, very comfortable mattresses and super clean. We were able to prepare our entire Thanksgiving meal in a nice spacious kitchen. Each day we took a walk...

'Very cozy, with comfortable beds, the fenced yard was great for our dogs. Cabin was priced appropriately. Owner was very responsive to messages and made us feel welcome. We will likely stay there again. Recommended if you want somewhere simple and quiet but only about an hour from Raleigh. We were visiting family in Wake Forest, about 45 minutes away.'
