'The owners and staff at the hotel were incredible! So nice and friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed being served breakfast by Lucas. It is lovely to see they actually practise inclusion. The hotel itself could do with a little bit of TLC, especially the bathrooms. The food was very nice with a choice of lovely Chilean dishes every day. Very personalised attention and the location is fantastic. I was there for work and I didn’t have an iron in my room but they basically ran to the store...

'Iedere dag werden we verrast: Aankomst:super vriendelijke ontvangst, alle tijd voor de gast. Voordat we ingecheckt waren waren de koffers al boven 3e etage met de trap. 2e dag kregen we spontaan een nieuwe, betere kamer op de begane grond aangeboden. Hulp bij de verhuizing. Laatste dag: we waren laat terug voor de lunch. 2 medewerkers zochten ½ uur naar een restaurant waar we nog terecht konden. We werden door de manager persoonlijk naar het restaurant gebracht. En ze regelden dat het restaurant...

'Inaki Uhi has a great location "downtown" Hanga Roa. There are a couple of supermarkets close to the hotel and a bakery next door (empañadas!) and some good restaurants across the road. Its a small walk to the "harbor" (mainly a few small boats for fishing and scubadiving). Alvaro, the host, knows a lot about the island so try taking a tour with him! The wifi works but isn't really fast.'
