'We had to cancel our trip, due to an extreme ice storm coming in. While VRBO refunded their portion to my account, the host is refusing to refund their portion, bc we canceled the day we were supposed to arrive. The weather was bad and we weren't willing to risk our lives, or others. We were offered a raincheck to use within the next 90 days, we won't be able to use it due to distance. '

'We visited Mifflinburg for the annual Christkindl Market. This home was perfectly located just a few blocks away from the festivities. The home was nicely decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed the baked good treats left by the host. We also appreciated the parking. Our hosts were very responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend! '

'New & clean, and on a lovely farm even if somewhat remote. Guests must be very nimble to access the loft sleeping area, and be ok with a firm sleeping surface & tight spaces. '

'Our experience at this property was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts put incredible thought into every detail. 'We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. '

'The cabin was clean but had an odor. The public bathroom behind cabin was not clean. The showers at the shower facility were difficult to use as you had to constantly press a button to have running water. It went from cold to burning in 5 minutes. Not a pleasant experience.'

'We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. '
