'Tricky to get to, small uncomfortable bed, very dirty, bottled water seen to have been bottled manually (didn't touch it, it had bits inside). Description mentioned 18 pools, we only saw one. Very poorly sound proofed. Not cheap (especially food). Pretty scenery all around.'

'My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. 'This is an absolute gem for anybody wishing to be pampered and catered for beyond your expectations, eat 5-star meals, and relax! What an amazing place..we will most certainly return!!!!'

'Lovely staff and service'

'Nice peaceful location with Good views . Staff is very helpful'

'Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful'

'Such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating in all aspects of our stay. We will be back and recommend to others. The grounds and surrounding area are so beautiful. Flora and fauna abound.'
