« This cabin was even better than the pictures. The mowed hiking trails were stunningly beautiful and they took the time to make a map of them including mileage. Its helpful that they are all loops so you don't get lost. There were deer all around. The beds and loveseat are comfy. We only found 1 blanket (besides the bedding)so bring blankets if you like naps and snuggling. The place needs an outdoor table and also a nightstand. Nice dry firewood is provided along with outdoor candles. Very nice!...

« Loved the cottage! Only complaint is we could at times hear the people in the next cottage thru shared wall. And loud trains at night. Loved the neighborhood, places you can walk. Short drive into cute town and state park. »

« Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking. If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles. »

« Perfect for our visit. The host is responsive and accommodating. House was clean and spacious, and had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. Steps away from Parrot State Park walking trail. A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. Was so glad we could bring our pup! Thank you. »

« This place was just as stated in ad. We travel to the area once a year to fish, having a dock was very nice. Although it rained two days of the stay we sat in the screened in deck. Would highly recommend staying here. The owner answered questions that I had in a very timely manner. »

Close the Perrot park, walking distance to the historic Trempealeau hotel, and unbeatable river views. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin with family. It will be much nicer once they complete all the renovations. It is very spacious, but does not have any window treatments. The bedrooms and bathrooms should at least have some type of blinds. Since there is no ice maker, more than one ice tray is needed, especially given the distance the cabin is from any type of store to pick up supplies. The renovations they have completed are beautiful and the cleanliness was great. »
