'Nice view on the top of the mountain….I admired the river with the bridge and the surroundings until late in the night. The accommodation was excellent, we had everything we needed.… we are thinking of coming back sometime….'

'We had a lovely relaxing stay at Don and Tammy's home. It was spacious, well maintained and perfectly equipped, and a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed a bit of kayaking, grilling and even sat in the pretty lighted gazebo enjoying the night sky. The hosts were very communicative and took great care of our needs. Great place to spend quality time with family and friends! '

'Carolyn was so amazing with her directions on how to park and check in. The apartment had everything as advertised. The ambiance was very private and peaceful. Walking distance to the town and pier. I would definitely stay again.'

'Condo was nice but requires a lot of attention. Bed sheets and pillows have stains, cooking pans are in bad shape. Many bugs inside although is understandable as is close to the woods. Internet does not work most of the time. Low water pressure if 1 shower is running, for big group ie annoying as you need to wait for one person to finish. '

'Awesome place, completely renovated, perfect location to town, super clean! I'd recommend and stay here again! Multiple levels with stairs. If you have trouble with stairs I'd look elsewhere also no full kitchen and small refrigerator. That being said this is a 5 star place without question. Same goes for the host, accommodating, super responsive! '

'The apartment is beautiful with the most attention to detail. We walked each night to the water/restaurants in Newburgh. Communication was quick and timely. We would love to stay here again. The area can get loud at times but we didn't feel unsafe.'

'Unbelievable home and location! 15 minutes from Legoland NY and Castle Fun. We did not get to explore the downtown too much, but a drive through impressed us. Found a great pie shop 10 minutes away and some solid pizza. Back to the home...the pictures tell it all. Great host as well. Could use a few more larger frying pans for cooking, but otherwise very well-stocked! Could fit 3 families of 4 here no problem. Will be back!'

'It was a perfect house and town for me and my 8 friends to stay. We all had room, were able to work remotely on Friday and we had perfect weather. My only note is that we had planned on using the grill one of the nights but only realized when we got there that it was not set up. We also had wanted to us the canoe but could not seem to find the oars. All in all it was an incredible weekend at a beautiful home and we will DEFINITLEY be back!'

"Dit hotel is ons erg tegengevallen. De reviews vielen niet tegen maar het hotel des te meer. De kamers en bedden waren goed. Maar het was zeer luidruchtig met gasten van discutabel niveau. Een keer is zelfs de politie geweest om iemand op te halen. De ontvangst was buitengewoon slecht. We waren met een groep. Aanvankelijk werd er doodleuk gezegd dat we niet gereserveerd hadden. Toen werd deze wel gevonden, eerst maar voor een beperkt aantal gasten maar na ruim 1,5 uur (!!!) had iedereen eindelijk z’n kamer."
