'Highland falls is a dump. WE WERE LOCKED OUT AFTER 1day of a 2 day stay. Very FEW window coverings and no black out in bedroom. You’ll be up at dawn. WIFI is TERRIBLE!!! Dealing with the owner/property management company was a HASSLE. First, you cannot pay through VRBO. The property manager sent me links to pay that did not work and wasted 4 hours of my time just trying to get payment to their platform. 'This property looks NOTHING like those very nice photos they show. It’s unkempt and actually dirty inside. The clerk was working behind bulletproof glass. The parking lot has numerous people hanging around. There are signs warning of human trafficking as you go in and also in the dingy lobby. The clerk actually told me that I didn’t have to stay there if I didn’t want to, because the ‘vibe’ of the place had changed since it changed ownership.
