'Amber was an excellent host, the property was clean and comfortable, we initially had an issue with the heating system due to the excessively cold weather, but this was swiftly resolved and we were soon warm and cosy!The cottage has a lovely view over Owasco lake, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Amber had even kindly left us a delicious bottle of local wine.We would definitely recommend!'

'Believed the reviews I saw when booking this property. Definitely overrated. Just okay in a sketchy area. '

'Prior to booking the property, I had no idea that climbibg so many stairs was necessary, to get into the property. It worked out, though.The host offerred to help with getting us, along with our luggage, etc., upstairs. He was quite amenable and enthusiastic about supplying our every need, as far as household items were concerned. He even offered to mail an item to us, after we left it behind, on the property.'

'Shelwyn was awesome to deal with. He responded ASAP when we had a question about the shower. Was upfront and helpful. He was in his house on the property but gave us our privacy. The last day of our stay he said take your time getting out because he didn’t have another booking following us. Worked out great as we were moving onto a bigger spot with the rest of our family on Saturday but couldn’t check in until 4. Thank you Shelwyn for everything and being so easy to deal with- we will be back !!'
