'The hosts are both very attentive and also respect your privacy. We chose to eat in every night and the hosts discussed the meal before hand which included fantastic ingredients for the price, all prepared in an open kitchen while you chat or sit at the well appointed bar. We had some delicious drinks prepared and the house wines were good and paired to your meal. The overall price for the meals and drinks was very good value given the quality ingredients and not short on portion size! Lovely...

'We’ve really enjoyed the week at Barrusclet. The house is beautiful and it stayed nicely cool when it was quite hot outside. The kitchen is complete with glasses coffeemachine cutlery etc and therefore its easy to cook nice meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms have everything you need. The garden is amazing. The property is very child friendly. Mark and Gill are excellent hosts. They were friendly, helpful and very approachable. They arranged for example 4 baby cots for us and two baby chairs!...

'Une critique de taille : le lit (canapé lit) équipant la chambre du rez de chaussée est complètement délabré : matelas affaissé, lattes du sommer sans aucune souplesse… On sent les lattes au travers du matelas ce qui est très inconfortable. Il est indispensable de changer ce canapé lit pour un vrai lit. Il est dommage que ce couchage désastreux vienne entacher ce logement par ailleurs remarquable…'

'We had a wonderful stay at this well-equipped property - inside and out. Beds were super comfortable. As described in the details, the property is set in what can best be described as a park, which contains tennis court, petanque arena and extensive grounds with many different lounging and dining locations and great sunset views.
