'Great place to stay. Lovely quiet site, nicely laid out, great position for town and Abel Tasman NP. Our motel suite was excellent - lovely comfy bed, great shower, well equipped. Excellent laundry too. '

'When I arrived it was getting late, the lady at the counter was very nice and made my check in easy after a tiring day traveling. They gave me a bigger unit which I am very greatful for, it was also spotless and spacious. Cleaners kept everything in order, and do an excellent job. The site is close to the Richmond town center that has everything you will need on holiday and even a cinema 'Silky Otter' (10 min walk). For me, it was like a nice little home away from home and I look forward to...

Still we would not choose to stay here again, because the couple who manage the place showed very little flexibility and sense of service when they denied our request (that we put in after one day) to cut our stay at the hotel short from four to three nights. The lady literally immediately pulled out the fine print of the agreement and told us that "from a business standpoint", she couldn't allow this. Very disappointing and, as you can...

'Excellent location to explore the region. Friendly people are running their lodge with nice rooms, good beds and shower. Breakfast included with own products and also means to make your own meal in the evening, incl a BBQ. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon enjoying the scenery is also a fine way too end a day. '

'Great room with good modern decor, certainly a step up from the standard motel offering in NZ. Also loved the additional communal kitchen if you need more than the microwave in the room. Parking was a bit of a pain during the day because a lot of non-guests appear to use the car park and it's not policed.'
