'The house was perfect for our stay, and we loved it. Very convenient location to downtown and the finish area of Historic Bridge Marathon. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house....

'This is a beautiful property with great amenities. A very comfortable, spacious house with nice views of the water. The house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Communication with the host for Q&A was excellent. He responded quickly to our questions. We hope to come back again.'

'Another fantastic stay! Everything about the house in comfortable, plenty of seating, places to eat, areas within the house to talk, play games, etc.. The kitchen has what you need to cook a meal or bring in some crabs and eat them on the screened-in porch. Every bed is comfortable. The view is perfect and we were fortunate to have some hot September weather and take advantage of the pool. Just a short drive to Easton and St Michael, but remote enough to feel like you are really getting away...

'The Woodland Retreat property was quiet and a good location for our fall golf trip. All beds comfortable and the place was very clean. Good hot water for showering and plenty of towels / linens. The Owner was very responsive to all questions we had prior to checkin and during our stay. The Wifi worked well. This is a heavily wooded area and we enjoyed using the firepit and grill. Plenty of room to park if multiple parties are involved. While not real close to many restaurants most will...
