'I have been going to Eleuthera for over 20 years. Every home is different and being on a remote island has its challenges for property owners. This home sits on a great beach with plenty of privacy. It was very clean and the check in process was super easy. Some items are worn, but everything works. The bed in the blue bedroom sways and is super soft (the only negative). Awesome view and nice location.'

'This place is perfect for exploring beaches and also having a pool. Located in the middle of the island its convenient to go either North or South. Jethro is hands down the best home owner we have ever rented from. Immediate response in person if needed. Even though right on Banks Rd the privacy is perfect! Looking forward to returning to this beautiful island and will definitely return to Tradewinds!'

'We enjoyed our 10-day stay. The sweet house was everything we expected—Clean, well designed and organized, and close to Governor’s Harbor as well as points north and south. The weather was hotter than we expected, but AC worked well. I especially enjoyed daily “workouts in the small and very clean pool. Jethro, who lives nearby, was particularly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend.'

'Well located on the center of the island, 8 min walk to a quiet beach. Super clean apartment, friendly owner. We appreciated the beach chairs we could take along with us. The only disappointment is that we thought from the listing the large balcony facing the ocean would be private and adjacent to our unit, but it is the owner's balcony which we could access. No direct ocean view from our apartment.'

'This great house is located at the the most beautiful bay of the island. It’s a lot of fun to explore the island but it isn’t necessary. You are a few footsteps away from the best the island has to offer. The house is spacious and has everything you need. The only strange thing is the very narrow spiral staircase to the first floor. With stuff you will have to go to the first floor via the outside stairs. Contact with the owner and caretaker was very fast and excellent!'

'The location of this little cottage could not have been more perfect. We checked out several other beaches on the island and honestly felt like this was the best! The house is nothing fancy but had everything we needed and was perfect for us. It is a clean, quaint little cottage with a beautiful view of the beach right out the back door. 'House is very nice - also quite remote feeling but not far from restaurants and Governor’s Harbor. The beach is beautiful! Tenielle was a wonderful host! The only thing that could use repair is the long driveway. However, it is like many driveways on Eleuthera so I think you just have to expect it (but don’t be surprised as it’s quite a bumpy road).'

'Privacy, beauty, setting and every possible convenience in a vacation rental on one of the out islands. Top appliances, comfortable furniture, spectacular setting on a near private beach of miles. And to make things best, a wonderful local manager—responsive, knowledgeable,etc. Could not have been more pleased! Compliments to the owners for their thoughtful furnishing and accommodations. A minor point would be the need to replace the beach chairs, but the many patio chairs and tables and lounges...

'We had a wonderful time with our group of friends. The house was in a nice central location and the house manager was very accommodating. The power went off a couple of times and the house generator came on immediately. That was a great PLUS! My ONLY recommendation would be some upgrades on the small appliances, (no big deal) and dresser’s in the bedrooms, otherwise, it was perfect. We will visit again. We LOVE Eluethera and all the Bahama Islands and the people. 🇧🇸'

'We stayed for 5 days at Ocean Sounds cottage. Theresa was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was very clean and sized perfectly for one or two people. The neighborhood is lovely and the beach just a short drive away.'

'The location of this home on the island was ideal. Super close to Governor's harbor where we made frequent trips to town for shopping and restaurants. Pascals right down the hill with the swim up bar was a perfect compliment to this home. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was a perfect layout for two families. The towels were nice and soft and so were the beds and linens. The living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable but we spent most of our time out by the pool. The kitchen is...

'We loved this house with an incredible view of the harbor! Being centrally located on the island, we were able to explore a lot of the island. And the house was well supplied with kitchen items and linens! We would definitely there again if the opportunity arose!'
