'Great view out to the river'

'The pictures deceived us unfortunately. The “hot springs” were just a hot tub that wasn’t very nice at all. There were children under 18 in the over 18 area and the staff did nothing about it. Only one front desk lady was super sweet and helpful, everyone else was not. I splurged on this stay because I thought it would match the pictures and be relaxing but it was not. Save your money!'

'luxury cabins waren in sommige opzichten inderdaad luxueus (goed bed, bubbelbad....en .....ouderwetse tv, smakeloos interieur, ok ontbijt. Weinig hartelijke ontvangst: "here you have some information about the area, but you are only here for one night so you won' be able to see much.... Inderdaad, wanneer we de volgende dag gaan wandelen (vroeg om de massa voor te zijn), moeten we wachten tot het ontbijt klaar is om 9 U. Voor 120 euro, zou ik zeggen goed adres, voor 200 euro, overpriced'

The location made it easy for us to fly into Portland and spend time exploring Southern Washington and Northern Oregon, all with easy drives back to where we were staying. Where we were staying was so beautiful though, that it made us not want to travel too far from it anyway. The location is perfect! Right on the Washougal river and so private. 'This place was awesome! The location was perfect. “Off the grid” feeling (no cell phone reception) but also felt accessible (wi-fi). The first night we saw a bald eagle attempt to grab a gosling. Luckily it did not succeed but was cool to see.There’s a little market about 5 minutes away in case you need to get some snacks. Dougan falls was 8 minutes away.
