« Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. »

« Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year »

« Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs. »

« This is a spacious home, with a beautiful front room that faces a pond. It's in a very relaxing location. Furniture is minimalist, could use an extra chair. On this trip, my sisters and I spent 3 days there and went to Barter theater to watch "Frozen." My nephew enjoyed the fishing. Great place, great show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax. »

« Perfect place for my sister and I to stay while attending the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway. The owners are very attentive and responsive, and the cabin had everything we needed. I loved the pigs and goats!! Would absolutely recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in Bristol! »

« The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! »

« Ms. Regina touched base a day ahead about check in which made the day of our arrival super easy. Everything about the house suited our needs from sleeping accommodations to kitchen supplies to hang out space for chit chats and board games. « This was our first Vrbo experience. We stayed 8 nights. The location off of I-81 was perfect. Check in was super easy. The code to the door arrived two days before our trip. I gave 5 stars to communication with the host, but I gave 5 stars because I didn't have a need to communicate with him. Some minor repairs are needed, but other guests mentioned them so I did not feel I had to communicate them as well. I actually prefer the no contact check in because my dog does not care for...

« This home is more than you could ever expect. Not only is it feet from the Watauga River, it is immaculate inside and out. Everything you could possibly need is thoughtfully provided. We loved sitting on the front porch at night listening to the river. You truly feel welcome and at home in this property. We will definitely be returning soon. »
