'We chose to stay in Burgaw to save a little money instead of staying in Wilmington during the Fourth of July week. Our daughter had orientation for UNCW which was just 30min away. The house was clean and neat. It was fully stocked. The only thing we missed was a microwave. Also, the water was high in iron but I suspect that’s a regional issue. Great job fixing up this house!'

'Host is very responsive and cooperative. A must stay property and the Place is lovely and so close to nature and has a lovely kitchen with all necessary utensils and lovely and cozy bedroom. We had a great time welcoming the new year and would definitely come back during summer.'

'We stayed for one night on our way to somewhere else. The house was close to I95, clean and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The host sent the checkin instructions in advance and we had not issues getting into the house with the provided code. There was a coffee maker with coffee pods and snacks. The only thing I would suggest is adding a bit more cutlery (we found 3 forks and 3 spoons) and a couple more stainless steel pots (there was just a small one).'

'There were lots of little interesting trinkets and games in the home. Just enough space for a couple to relax and have all of the nice things home has to offer. We baked cookies with the grandkids and there were baking sheets on hand to get the job done! Scott was great to work with! '

'There was a small issue with the AC that was identified the day before we arrived. The host communicated the issue and the plan for fixing the problem and gave us options to cancel if we desired. We were not able to find any other accommodations last minute. However, the AC was fixed on our second day and did not cause any interruptions to our stay. The host was great about communicating and providing updates. We also got mixed up on the check out time, I thought it was noon, cleaner showed up...
