« Our family stayed at Black Ridge cabin for a week during spring break. The house is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We got to play board games on the big dining room table and roast hotdog over the fire pit. We were close enough to visit all of the local parks and yet far enough out that we really felt like we were in nature. All of us enjoyed the buggy ride and our hosts were so kind and communicated very quickly. »

« We took a chance to go to southern illinois because we never went to Shawnee forest. It was a lovely stay. The ybit was wonderful and set on a cliff above the Ohio river. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Great water pressure in shower. Back dwck was great to sit and relax at in the night time. Nice fire put out back. Was more a wonderful place to stay than doing acticities on site. We left to find adventured and activities nearby. It is set perfectly for short drives to the forest or...

« Nice clean, private unit. Hot tub was clean and private. We enjoyed the stay. Kids would have enjoyed the slide and swings, but it was too cramped for me. Queen bed was comfortable. Swivel TV allowed watching from the couch or the bed. We cooked a nice steak dinner and enjoyed the evening even though it was cold outside. I did tiptoe down the stairs and enjoyed the hot tub before going to bed. »

« Property was great!! My wife and I visited the area to check out Shawnee Forest and other surrounding areas. This cabin was very well located for us. The interior was fantastic. Anything you may have wanted was there. The bed was super comfy and clean. The bathroom was very well stocked and very clean as well. We would 100% stay here again if we come back through the area. Thanks for a great stay!! »

« I was in the area for a seminar and to do some hiking. The location was perfect. The cabin could not have been better and was just right size for one person - not too big, not too small. Very clean, had everything you would need, and I really liked the kitchen area. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area and would strongly recommend it. »
