'Peaceful house, great location and well stocked place. Enough room to place a large dog kennel next to the kitchen table.Neighborhood is really quiet which is exactly what we needed. The crestone book was an interesting read and recommended perusing. Only suggestion is to add a deck of cards, uno, skipbo like games to the collection of games.'

'Overall a very nice spot. Quiet neighborhood , very clean and well kept, kitchen stocked with basics like spices, flour, sugar, etc. Would have been nice to have directions on how to adjust the thermostat as it was set to drop to 60 degrees at night. And unscented/hypoallergenic detergent/fabric softener would be preferable as all the towels smelled like perfume and caused a skin reaction. '

'Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it '

'We stayed two nights on a trip to the Sand dunes… It was centrally located in Crestone, convenient to the market and coffee shop. Would stay here again. Not fancy, perfect for a Nice peaceful getaway. Beautiful views, you can’t beat Crestone. Be mindful there are stairs and grass to walk-through upon arrival. We very much enjoyed our time there. 'This place was solid!Although not the easiest to get to (Trust me if you want off the beaten path PEACE and quit this cabin is top notch), the cabin was comfortable, the scenery in the foothills if the San Juan Mountains was amazing.Our host went way above and beyond, answered questions, and even helped with a vehicle lock out!!! 'We had a wonderful stay in the Guest Cabin. It was so very peaceful and relaxing sitting outside by the river. We enjoyed watching the geese and goslings and caught a glimpse of a foxes playing nearby. My husband enjoyed fishing off the bank. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for the two of us. We already have plans to return!'

"This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!"
