'If you ride to the lodges you think what will this be? After the 8 km sand road you will come in a small oasis with an amazing friendly, helpful, hospitable owner who wants to help you with everything. This is really a gem and you have to visit this place and stay a night.'

'Disappointing stay. The deck overlooking the Kunene River which is featured in the advertisement for the property is stunning. However, nothing else lived up to these expectations. Our booking showed a hotel room and when we arrived we were shown to what was apparently a "guides" room. The room was small, dark and dingy and was closed with a lock on a latch. For the less money at other locations in the area we received a far better deal. We asked to be moved as this was not good for the amount...
