'Does the job if you just need a place to sleep in the area but it needs some TLC and the garden is over grown, not sure if the heating is working. I'd hace still rated it as average as lomg as your not taking the family on holiday but communication feom the host was dreadful. I shluld have tp asl a half dozen times for access info, its not necessary and it adds to the stress. No one wants to make a three hour drive without knowing they will be able to get in when they get there '

'Fantastic stay in a wonderfully comfortable house. Loads of extras to make our stay very enjoyable. Nothing was left to chance. We look forward to returning to The Tipsy Bee.'

'Location is great with lovely ocean views and sunsets. The apartment is huge with lots of space and is well stocked although it was a bit disappointing there is no coffee maker. Had a lovely stay. Also disappointing that the tram to the beach is not running.'

'Excellent rural location, quality re-furbishment, very comfortable bed, very well equipped for two people. The peace and quiet was wonderful, and the far-reaching views over the North Yorkshire Moors were magnificent. We would just mention, however, that the description on VRBO and Sykes Cottages states that is a microwave, which there isn't, and no mention of a toaster, which there is! The owner, Fiona, was charming and welcoming, and we would definitely return to this lovely cottage.'

'Good location for visiting local area and coast. Well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. Lounge furniture would appreciate an update but comfortable never the less. Enjoyed our short break stay at Pine Hill Lodge. Would stay here again.'
