'The staff was fantastic and soo friendly! Our son came home saying he made new friends because they were all so kind. The food was great and the hospitality of the family who had their reunion to make my Mom's birthday special was something we'll cherish for a long time! ' The kitchen was fuilly equiped with everything I needed to cook. The ac work very well, and the inside of the cabin was clean. It was very peaceful, just what i wanted. I am sure it gets busy in the summer time, but i chose the right time to make this trip. There was a fire ring outside the cabin as well as a a BQQ grill. The frio river is just a few feet away which was really great. Be sure to bring your own bed sheets, linens, and pillows.'

'I picked this cabin for the proximity of several hiking locations. Perfect location to enjoy Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, the Frio and several local hiking/ biking areas. The room was super clean. Exactly as pictured. Mattress was very comfortable and the extra blankets came in handy on a 35 degree night. Great views from the porch and around the property. It's conveniently located between Leakey and Garner State Park. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive to any needs you have.'
