'The staff was fantastic and soo friendly! Our son came home saying he made new friends because they were all so kind. The food was great and the hospitality of the family who had their reunion to make my Mom's birthday special was something we'll cherish for a long time! We had the best time and hope to come back soon! '

'One problem: we didn't stay long enough! We thought just one overnight would be fun but we could have stayed for a week! Easy to get to, loved the wildlife (felt like a princess when the deer would come up and nudge you to pet them) and the dark sky atmosphere made the stars burn so brightly. I felt so relaxed, we cannot wait to come back!'

' The kitchen was fuilly equiped with everything I needed to cook. The ac work very well, and the inside of the cabin was clean. It was very peaceful, just what i wanted. I am sure it gets busy in the summer time, but i chose the right time to make this trip. There was a fire ring outside the cabin as well as a a BQQ grill. The frio river is just a few feet away which was really great. Be sure to bring your own bed sheets, linens, and pillows.'

'I picked this cabin for the proximity of several hiking locations. Perfect location to enjoy Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, the Frio and several local hiking/ biking areas. The room was super clean. Exactly as pictured. Mattress was very comfortable and the extra blankets came in handy on a 35 degree night. Great views from the porch and around the property. 'Great place to stay clean and private enough to feel loved me no one else around and at the same time if need help or have a problem someone right there for you loved it '

'Really quite place to relax only problem is at night it really hard to pin point what drive way to turn to caues it so dark really needs lighting out there we did notice some stringing of light on the gat but by the time u see them u have to turn around and we were sad we didn't see any hummingbird we loved drinking coffee and seeing them last time we visited '

'The assortment of deer, axis, fallow, and antelope was so cool! We fed some out of our hands! The cabin was adorable and the grounds were very nicely kept! Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!'
