« This hotel is ideally placed for exploring the Ratnapura area. The hotel was clean, service was good and the food was amazing. Sitting on my terrace watching the wildlife was wonderful. »

« Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. »

« A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good. »

« Je trouvais ridicule de payer une somme importante dans la mesure où a 2h du matin, nous serions levés. Meme 25€ la nuit, j’ai trouvé cela cher en proportion de la prestation. Notre lit n’avait pas de drap. Une seule serviette de bains à l’hygiène douteuse. Bref, si vous n’êtes pas regardants, ok sinon passez votre chemin. »

« We stayed in the hotel because of Sinharaja rain forest. Location is good, close to city but quiet for sleep. Hotel is very wear off and needs proper cleaning of everything. Owner is nice and helpful is you need to manage something. »

« Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak. »
