'Cute little area, close to downtown. Parking is close - do not risk parking on the road!'

'I was offered a different place on the day of my check-in. The unit I booked was on the 2nd floor, but the unit I received was on the fourth floor. The issues: This is next to a Railroad track and the trains during the night blow their whistles. At least 4 times after 10 pm and during the night. The AC system is not working, there is an AC unit full of dust by the window and a floor fan, which I ended up using. There's a lot of dust and dirt by the floors near the windows. Toilet bowl was...

'I wasn't all that impressed with the cleanliness of the room when I arrived but our host was gracious and eager to make things right away. Best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Will come back!'

'Convenient location downtown.'

'Great location! Nice big apartment! Just what we needed and worked great!'

'Great location, easy access, nice, clean and affordable. Could have used a bit more instruction on check out (ie where to leave the key). Other than that - no complaints!'

'It was within walking distance to everything we needed to do downtown.'

'The owner was very quick in responding when I had any questions. We stayed here and walked to the Casey’s Center for a concert. Parking was easy. Loft was very clean. Check in and check out was very easy. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again!'

'The pros were that the property and building were quiet, check in and out was easy, and everything worked (TV, fridge, etc). However the unit itself felt somewhat dingy/dirty, particularly the floors. The washing machine had a musty/mildew smell but luckily we were not trying to wash anything as we were only spending one night. The most egregious offenses in my opinion were: 1. We were only given 1 washcloth and 2 bath towels. Again luckily we were only there one night, but this would have...

'Long story short, don't waste your money. The unit smelled of smoke and was dirty when I arrived. I looked closer and noticed the place wasn't even clean one bit. The bathrooms were dirty and gross; I could tell it hadn't been touched because the sinks had hair and grime in them, as did the showers. There were only 2 body towels per room when I signed up for 6 guests. No clean dishes; the hand soap was watered down and damn near out of soap in each bathroom and the kitchen! The host did...

'Quiet, easily accessible first floor unit, low key and gracious hosts, everything I needed was there. They expected very little of me, communicated quickly, and even checked in a few times during my long term stay just to make sure I was doing okay.'

'Space was perfect for what we needed. Overall would definitely stay here again. Owners were great about responding. Only downfall to the property (not the owners fault) was the parking situation. Our first night we had to drive around the block 2-3 times before we found someone leaving and could take their spot.'

'This apartment was perfect for my needs while I was taking part in 2 athletic events in Des Moines. My scheduled travel partner was not able to attend leaving me as a single female. With codes to external & internal doors and a quiet building and neighborhood, I felt very safe. I was even able to shelter in the basement gym, during a tornado alert. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and Mac added lots of useful extras. He was also a quick and helpful communicator. I would definitely stay...

'Nice litt'

'When in town for event at The Civic Center, it was completely convenient. Comfortable and we saved money by being able to prepare some meals in the condo. Nice view of downtown, skywalk access was appreciated because it was raining. Great communications, fair price, clean and cozy. We will be back.'

'Very convenient place to stay for the Drake Relays. Would definitely look to stay there again.'

'Great place to stay. A high quality space with beautiful landscaping. A coffee maker would have been nice.'
