'This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids...

While we were disappointed we weren't able to fully enjoy Lake Lure (due to the recovery from Helene), we were happy to come visit the area and support the local businesses while they work to rebuild. The property was convenient to many attractions and activities and Bob is an A host.'

'The place was lovely. Perfect for our overnight stay. Convenient to town. The views were beautiful. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the hike to Jump Off Rock from the property. I’d rate the hike as short (took us less than 20 minutes) but definitely moderate in spots. (Not a leisurely stroll). We’d definitely recommend Nathan’s place. '

'This was our second stay at the cabin. It was as wonderful as we remembered it. Perfect location between Brevard and Hendersonville, comfortable and clean accommodations, and the porch is a great spot for waiting out an afternoon storm or counting fireflies in the evening. We plan to return again next summer. '

'Charming, private cabin on a mountainside yet close to local attractions. We were greeted by wood thrush song and a bear sighting! The high back porch was the perfect spot for coffee, birdwatching, or a good book. Comfy bed, separate lower level we didn’t use also has outdoor access. Great spot!'
