'El cedro soñado is a unique and beautiful location near Baños and Párate, Ecuador, the staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, the location is one of a kind and the views and peaceful setting are the main drivers for visitors, that said it is not easy to get to since it takes between 35-40 minutes up a very steep mountain road, I personally enjoyed the drive, my other traveling companions not so much. Overall Cedro Soñado it's a great choice, just be aware what makes it unique also makes...

'Eric was wonderful and took very good care of us, extremely helpful and courteous. He aided us in experiencing the nearby town of Banos. The location was breathtaking, with clear mountain air. The porch with all the plants and a firepit nearby was lovely. We totally recommend this amazing place!'

'Great breakfast, big room yet bathroom was too small for 3 adults. The room we had was not in the main hotel ,it was built on the site yet outside the hotel main rooms. You should ask questions on this prior. The staff could have been more helpful to indicate some facilities were closed in town whilst we asked them specifically on these'

The views from our room were spectacular. This is a family run business and their attention to detail really shows. We can’t wait to return to this oasis in the mountains.'
