'Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. '

'We only stayed on night but the room was fine with a comfortable bed. It’s located right in town and Lubec is a charming little town. '

'Lubec is a quiet town on the sea and we really loved it. The Eastern Beacon Inn was a delight. The bathroom may be a little small for some but the room is spacious and comfortable.'

'Was so impressed with how clean the cabin is. Very new, internet worked fine. But you’re there for the nature and water fun. They supplied some canoes and snacks and laundry supplies. Very nice folks. They will answer any questions very fast, just give them a call. Beautiful lake, the river goes right to the lake and has Excellent fishing on it. Don’t hesitate to book this 5 star cabin in the woods and enjoy the nature!'

'The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn'

'Easy check-in. Facility was clean and was as it appears in the photos. Great views and close to walk to town. Only enough plates and glasses for 4. 37 steps to get to the door and parking for one car. A perfect place for two couples. Wonderful hiking trails in the area and minutes from Canada. Enjoyed the visit to Campobello island. A quaint little New England town.'

'We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. While the cabin hasnt been updated recently it is clean and comfortable. The kids loved the bunkbeds, tire swing and hammock. We all enjoyed the screened porched and smores around the fire pit. 'The cottage was a comfortable space with spectacular views. We saw eagles, osprey, minke whales, seals (both harbour and grey types) as well as dozens of songbirds, etc right from the back deck and property. We even got to see a cruise ship pass by the house as it left port in Maine. The owner is beyond responsive. There was an issue with the back door lock and within hours it was fixed!
