« The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice. It is beautiful here. The view from the porch is absolutely amazing. Location is close to anything you need. We kayaked nearby, hiked, ziplined, and fished every night. My kids even braved the dark to try some catfishing! They are HUGE and plentiful from the fishing area! You feel very secluded there. We even saw the Milky Way! We grilled, watched movies and just had a wonderful time! »

« The Chalet was truly a perfect weekend getaway! We stayed two nights with our dog, Meeko, who had the time of his life exploring. The Chalet was beautiful, clean, and private. We enjoyed a trip to the caverns which was very convenient and spent the rest of the time at the cabin. There were board games which we played endlessly and the firepit was awesome. We roasted hot dogs and smores and enjoyed the outdoor space. The hot tub was clean and the relaxing. The views were just magical. A 10/10...

« We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Falling Leaf Cabin and had so much fun! We had meals at The Chop House Bistro, Dsrk Horse Irish Gastro Pub, West Main Market Beer and Wine Garden, Gathering Grounds Cafe and Glen Gordon Manor - all were fantastic! We loved the back deck and were often relaxing and reading our books out there. The hot tub was the best - seeing the fireflies at night in the yard was special. The beds were comfortable and Andrea was available for any questions we had....

« Very nice place. Cute cabin with lovely views. The fire pit are with a covered couch swing is great for evenings. If you are an early riser, there are nice sunrise views of the mountains. « We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

« This was the perfect romantic getaway. Communication with the property was so easy and fast, I asked about a couple details including the type of coffee maker (keurig duo) and they responded within minutes. We did have issues hooking up to the TV but it wasn't a top priority so didn't impact our stay. Cabins 9 and 10 are the first two you see when you drive in, so I can see how other cabins might be more ideal but we didn't have any issues with privacy even with tenants in the neighboring...

"Nous avons passé 3 nuits début juillet 2025 à Skyland, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nécessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et serviable tout au long du séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnées sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prévu pour un séjour pratique et agréable : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine à glace, parking gratuit… (Seul petit point à noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !). Nous recommandons chaudement Skyland à tous ceux qui veulent profiter pleinement de Shenandoah NP dans un cadre naturel, calme et authentique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !"
