« Apartment was clean and well resourced. On-site swimming pool was clean, with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Staff were very helpful and communication through text message was excellent. Parking was in a main car park at the top of a very hilly site with a 40 yard walk to carry luggage up and down a fairly steep hill. »

« Beautiful hotel, rooms and breakfast freshly cooked. However, when arrived they hadn't got the booking through, which also caused an issue at breakfast time. We arrived at breakfast at peak time but they could do with more staff as it was chaotic. Had to wait 20 mins for them to take the order and no vegetarian sausages. Lovely location, and lots of car parking space. »

« The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog »

« Room was clean and tidy tho family room was smaller than expected but was only 2 adults and a toddler. Only downside to this hotel was no air con or would have got 5 stars for everything »

« Zero WiFi except if you sitting downstairs by reception , room was ok , nowhere in hotel to grab a drink of food although room had kettle and microwave.. tv in room so basic and kept losing signal.. was staying for three nights ending up only doing two »

« My 90 year old Mum and I stayed for one night while visiting family. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to meet our needs. Super comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Breakfast included speciality coffees and a good menu of choices. The sun shone for us and we enjoyed the outside spaces. We highly recommend this hotel. »

« We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits. Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there. »

« Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather).. There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage). »

« The bedroom was lovely and clean, up 2 sets of stairs. Very close to the pub. But the Fethers pub is very dated. The bar/restaurant is a collection of old, marked furniture. Great location in the centre of Holt with friendly staff. Struggled to get parking as it felt like a few other people were using the car park, not just guests. »

« this was a terrible experience. arrived to a boarded up hotel, with a small note attached to door saying they have reserved rooms round the corner at Carlton hotel. No warning at all well this was a awful hotel so tatty and dirty. no ammenties. lots of staff but no help what so ever came home early NEVER AGAIN. so be warned save your money G Field »
