'I travel frequently for work and understand that older hotels will naturally show wear and tear. Age isn’t the issue here. The issue is cleanliness and maintenance. The room was in rough shape. The walls were covered in scuff marks, stains, dents, and numerous patched areas where repairs had clearly been made over the years. Many of the repairs appeared to have simply been painted over. 'Zeer aan te raden. Zowel qua ontvangst als verblijf zeer aangenaam, zowel de kamer, netjes en schoon, als het warme ontbijtbuffet. Zwembad niet gebruikt maar zag er goed uit. Een positief maar schril contrast met de vestiging in Amarillo I-40. Dat was hierbij vergeleken een afknapper. '

'We loved our stay here! The host was phenomenal and gave us tons of info about local attractions and events. Communication was easy and effortless. The house had lots of beautiful shelves and places to tuck things, and all the essentials of a home away from home. Highly recommend! '

'The reason we were out there is because my husband got a job at the new data center in Abilene (50 mins away from the job site btw). Overall we had a great experience! Super calm and quiet area. The living space was nice and we had no issues. I would recommend this place to anyone.'

'The house was wonderful in terms of size, lots of niceties like cookware (even though we did not hide), washer dryer, and large bedrooms. The location for our needs was ideal. The downside is the house did not seem clean or as if it had been cleaned recently. The toilets needed scrubbing, we saw two mice in the house, and there was a dead roach and scorpion in one of the bathrooms. We recognize a rural home will always do battle with wildlife, but it was disappointing to encounter nevertheless.'
