'The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions.
There was a short fireworks show every evening from about 8:30 to 9...

'Wonderful property. Beautiful traditional Japanese home with a gorgeous estate featuring a koi pond. The best host in Japan!! If you are in this area, you should stay here!!! A much different experience than the city. Our favorite stop so far!'
