'I have been to Liberia many times and stayed in many different hotels on my visits. This hotel being fairly new it seems was very clean. The room service each day was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the work that I do when I’m here it’s located in a good place and I’m sure I’ll be returning on my next visit. 'Fantastic hotel. The only one in Monrovia with good standards. Good selection of food and truly great breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and the pool area was fantastic for relaxation. Gym had almost everything, although the humid climate leaves traces on the weights. 'Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. '
