'I’ve stayed at most of the places in Nyali and this is the best experience for sure. Lawrence the front desk manager is super helpful and Eric at the bar is awesome. The breakfast buffet is great and there is nothing better than eating overlooking the ocean. The Bahari Dhow restaurant is excellent and there are lots of great options close by. Better than Sarova or English Point for sure. '

'We arrived at the establishment around 930pm east check in but place in terrible condition, moldy, no AC in any room, fans are from 1900 only thing new is fridge. When we came back I was short of breath coz the moldy condition was so bad my larynx literally swole and I couldn’t speak at all. They didn’t have other rooms to switch us to so we had to leave thirty mins after arriving to a better sanitary place. I’m sorry but they need to be shut down and fix their insufficiencies. 'Locatie is mooi, de tij valt mee. Je kan niet op 't strand zitten, geen ligbanken. Ook verboden met hotel badlakens. Wel met eigen handdoeken. Kakerlakken, gedateerd. 30 jaar oud. In de badkamer licht steeds stuk, wc en wastafel lopen door. Foto klopt niet met de kamer. Personeel heel aardig. Eten was de 2de dag beter.'

'What's there to say about a hotel started in 1972? If you're looking for modern amenities, you won't find it here. If you're looking for a time capsule of Swahili culture, you will find it here.
