'A very comfortable hotel in a good location in Takachiho. Walking distance to everything in town including the Takachiho Shrine, the gorge, and the local market. Rooms are large compared to usual Japanese hotels and have storage space for luggage or clothes. Lighting is good. Other breakfast options besides the full buffet would be welcome or even just coffee/tea in the restaurant. There is a nice patio in front for relaxing. Staff were very professional and helpful.'

'The hotel was in the nature. We had a nice big room. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The owner also had a big telescope and lets customers have a look at night. Disadvantage is that there arent any restaurants around and therefor you need a car to find food. The owner gives a map, but ask for extra directions because with the map alone it is difficult to find.'
